Welcome to the Teen Zone!
This is a place where all teenagers (ages 13-18), can come relax and enjoy the company of their peers. We offer a variety of programs that guide and enhance the talents teens already possess, as well as assist them with their academic needs. Guidance is offered through our Military Life Consultants, as well as tutoring support and education in financial responsibilities for the future.

Attendance
When your child is registered for this program, he or she is expected to sign in and out on our log sheet each time they enter or leave the building. This is very important for safety.

There will be occasional field trips running longer on some evenings and on some Saturdays.  These hours do not change during holiday periods, changes in school hours or Furlough weeks.

Payment Policy
The current fee for the Youth Center Teen Center Program is $180.00 per year. There are only two cases in which a parent will be allowed to pay one quarter of the year prorated at $45.00 for three months. The payment for a quarter year as an option, it can only be exercised one time and is in place to support parents who have children that will be here for a short period of time such as in the summer months or for a family that will PCS in under 6 months.

Registration Form
All registration forms must be filled out completely to include an emergency number, which cannot be either parent. All phone numbers must be current and updated when there are any changes. A payment receipt number, expiration date, membership number and initials of the person who processed the application must be included on the form. Registration forms may not be re-dated; each year a new form must be completed to insure all information is accurate. You can find a printable copy of the registration form at the top of this page.

EVENTS AND PROGRAMS:

Daily
We offer a safe and fun environment where participants can take part in games, physical activities, computer use for home work or fun and arts & crafts projects. We use the first hour of each day as a home work hour and provide help or tutoring. Other special physical activities include: archery, first tee golf, volley ball, softball and the use of the base Fitness Center.

Annually
We offer social events which include Teen Holiday Party and Rock & Rolling Back to School event. We also host an annual teen lock-in open to all 13 -18 years; we support the annual Fishing Derby and a community wide Easter Egg Hunt. Teens recognize their volunteers by planning their Annual Presidential Volunteer Awards Dinner to all Travis Teens in November.

Keystone Club
Our mission is to provide a positive environment in which teens can reach their goals and aspirations. The Club gives individuals a chance to experience community service, develop organizational skills and leadership skills. The Keystone Club is run by the teens and is supported by their Teen Advisor. The officers of this club meet every Monday to plan events and activities. Keystone meetings are scheduled every Wednesday of each week where  teens have a chance to plan events, fundraisers, review club funds, decided on expenditures and give input to the teen program for the benefit of all teen participants. The Keystone club operates its’ own healthy heart snack bar which also provides income to the club.

Teen of The Month
Each month a new “Teen of The Month” is selected by Keystone Officers and Teen Staff based on participation, leadership, academics and special acts. The selected Teen of the month has their picture displayed along with their peers and is awarded a certificate and prize.
